FEBRUARY 5, 2013:
I haven’t put anything on this page in a while, but this clip came my way this morning and it’s amazing. I never knew J.J. Abrams and I have so much in common. And his concept is mindblowing.

BRILLIANCE in a jar. Really. Watch.

Here’s a story about Hurricane Irene you are NOT going to see on your big-market Tv station, from the Associated Press. Amazing.

Great video from Gary Vaynerchuk on why every business needs a mobile strategy – NOW.

JULY 7, 2011:
This video is in the post I put up about the Casey Anthony verdict, but I just HAVE to post a link here too because it is such a PR train wreck. It’s exactly the kind of thing a lawyer who’s just won a controversial case for his client should NOT do, and that’s excoriate the media. Doesn’t matter that they’ve made you their human pinata for the last three years. Doesn’t matter that your victory gives you the right to do the “told you so” dance. Acting this way makes you look like a jerk, every day and twice on Sunday.

Here it is.

For those of you looking to add video to your site, here’s a how-to video from Social Media Expert Kristen Darkenwald. She’ll walk you through and even give you the cut-and-paste code, which is also on her blog.

Thanks Kristen!

FEBRUARY 4, 2011:

Everyone’s trading this Volkswagen Super Bowl spot online, and it’s truly great (and great advance marketing by Volkswagen; never mind the couple million they spent on the ad; as of February 4 at 3pm, this video has 5.9 MILLION views on YouTube).

What it demonstrate to me is the amazing cultural infiltration that Star Wars creator George Lucas has pulled off. Consider this: in order to appreciate and even be humored by this commercial, you have to understand intimate details about the story and the character, both of which are more than three decades old. And yet: EVERYONE gets it. Wow.
