This morning at the PR firm where I work we held a meeting to talk about creativity and how to promote, harness and extract value from it. We talked about what we do to inspire our own creativity and how we convert that into ideas that can be executed for our clients.
The discussion raised a few questions, and I am interested to know what you think:
1. Since not everyone is inherently creative, can creativity be taught, and if so, how?
2. How can we – as PR practitioners – be more creative for our clients?
3. How do we get some of our less open-minded clients to embrace creativity, especially when it involves a leap of faith?
4. Should creative thinking be incentivized, or is it part of our job description?
Finally – do you consider yourself a creative person?
